Welcome to UBL Basketball
New League featuring yesterday and today's stars, let the stars align!

The Universal Basketball League (UBL) is a fictional basketball simulation involving players from the past & present. The premise is a 36-team league that will feature players from the 1967-1968 NBA & ABA Seasons, 1992-93' NBA Season & the 2017-18' NBA Season. The eras are 25 years apart, and after this season (Galaxy Season I), next season will feature players from the 68-69' NBA & ABA Seasons, 1993-94' NBA Season & 2018-19' NBA Season.
Basketball won't be the only sport conducted like this, there will also be a baseball league called the APBA Galaxy Baseball Association (AGBA) which will be played with APBA Baseball and hybrid versions of the board game, using dice. The UBL will be conducted through Action PC Basketball (from Dave Koch Sports, a.k.a. DK Sports) as well as the football project (United Football League [UFL]) to use the same years premise. Some of my followers from by Blogger site Boys of Summer may recall that I have already started the baseball project, starting last summer, but I paused the project back in February to get this project's roots planted. Once this project starts and hits the April area of the schedule, the baseball will be reported in the Galaxy time line.
“Imagine an outfield playing for the San Francisco baseball team featuring an outfield of Barry Bonds, Willie Mays and Barry's father Bobby all at the same time? Or in basketball, a Boston starting lineup featuring Bill Russell, Jayson Tatum, Kyrie Irving, Reggie Lewis & Bailey Howell?”
The Galaxy time line will be in years labeled Galaxy Season I, then Galaxy Season II, etc...
Galaxy Season I, starts off in November of the 67-92-2017, then the New Year, then April of 68-93-2018 with AGBA Baseball launching (using players from 68', 93' & 2018), and then fall with the Galaxy Series I (October), with the UFL season kicking off the month before in September. Once again, all will be labeled under Galaxy Season I.
I plan to report the leagues with the games being reported in synch to the best of my ability. Eventually there will be like a ESPN-type site for this Galaxy sports universe to all coexist on one reporting site.
More will be described in upcoming blog pieces to give you, the reader, a better understanding of the constant madness that occurs in my wild imagination. I have always been curious how players from the past from multiple eras would play with current players on their team, and playing against players from these eras as well. Imagine an outfield playing for the San Francisco baseball team featuring an outfield of Barry Bonds, Willie Mays and Barry's father Bobby all at the same time? Or in basketball, a Boston starting lineup featuring Bill Russell, Jayson Tatum, Kyrie Irving, Reggie Lewis & Bailey Howell? With John Havlicek as your 6th man (at least during the first Galaxy Season, he'll start soon enough). San Francisco basketball will feature Stephen Curry, Chris Mullin, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green & Nate Thurmond.
It will all be interesting to see how these teams go from year to year... Who will win it all? Who will draft who? Who will sign who? Who will be traded? You get the gist.
